New functions in the PM Tool and FIT Maintenance Tool
Modified on: Thu, 28 Nov, 2024 at 2:48 PM
Last night there was a new cloud release. The parameter page in the PM Tool and the settings in the FIT Maintenance Tool have been revised with new setting options for OEMs and specialist dealers. PM Tool - You can now enter the default language, the time format and the date format in which the e-bike is produced.
- There is also a new option to allow light settings for specialist dealers. If you activate this option, dealers can make settings to the light at a later date. This also makes it possible to retrofit, adjust or remove lighting on an e-bike at a specialist dealer.
- For Pinion models, you can also approve the adjustment of the sprocket on the rear wheel for specialist dealers. This allows the rear sprocket to be replaced by a specialist dealer so that it complies with Pinion specifications. With the adjustment of the sprocket value in the FIT Maintenance Tool by the specialist dealer, the calculation of the Pinion MGU is correctly defined again in order to avoid errors due to tamper monitoring.
The adjustment of light and sprocket is required by the specialist dealer. As the OEM, you decide in the PM tool whether this may be done. Please check this for existing models and approve if necessary. |

FIT Maintenance Tool (available from 9.12.) - The settings have been revised. In addition to the next service appointment, specialist dealers can now also make light settings and sprocket settings, provided you have approved this as an OEM.
- New FIT Key Card search to check which FIT Key Card belongs to which e-bike.
Specialist dealers can find the operating instructions for the FIT Maintenance Tool 2.0 here. The previous version, without the new functions, is currently still available. The updated version will be available from 6.12.2024 at the latest under the same link. |
| Actions required: - Please check internally whether you want to release the settings or not. The release or settings should be made by you in the FIT PM Tool by 9.12.2024.
- Please inform your customer service about the update in the FIT Maintenance Tool.
- We also ask you to inform your dealers accordingly from 9.12.2024 about which settings will be opened for specialist dealers. We will inform dealers from our side about the new setting options in the FIT Maintenance Tool 2.0 beforehand, on 6.12.2024.
Please note: E-bike models with model year 2021/22 are not yet in the PM Tool. For these, nothing has changed in terms of the setting options available from specialist dealers. |
