The Pinion Smart.Shift app for smartphones can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. The app only works in interaction with Smart.Shift boxes that support Bluetooth®. Smart.Shift boxes that communicate directly with the e-bike do not require the Smart.Shift app. In this case, all settings can be made via the e-bike display.

When the app is installed, carry out the following steps to make settings on your Smart.Shift box:
→Switch on your Smart.Shift: Switch on your e-bike or connect your Smart.Shift battery to the wiring harness. Shift gears once to wake up your Smart.Shift.
→ Activate Bluetooth® pairing: Immediately after power on, your Smart.Shift is in pairing mode for 2 minutes and can be found by the app. Once this time has elapsed, you can manually reactivate pairing mode for 2 minutes: To do this, press the rear trigger button (without the Pinion logo) for 3 seconds and then release it. The LED on your Smart.Shift will now pulse blue.
→ Connect the device: In the Pinion Smart.Shift app, now open the "Device list" tab and tap "Add device" to find your Smart.Shift.
After your Smart.Shift has been added, you can give it an individual name, which is only stored locally on your smartphone.
