In general, Pinion gearboxes can also be used in gravel bikes / road bikes. The rotary shifter must be mounted on a separable handlebar (e.g. Van Nicholas, Co-Motion). The German component manufacturer Cinq also offers with the Shift:R for drop handle bar applications.
